Agency Chief Decarbonization Officer (nyc.gov/jobs ID number 591680)
The City of New York is hiring for Agency Chief Decarbonization Officers (ACDO) across multiple City agencies to elevate and streamline decarbonization in our government operations. The ACDO will be accountable for directing all efforts to reach the NYC agency’s decarbonization targets mandated by Local Law 97. They will serve as an executive-level strategist, partnering with agency leadership and staff, as well as the City’s Chief Decarbonization Officer at DCAS, to fully embed energy efficiency and decarbonization considerations into agency policy, operations, and capital planning.
