November Chapter Meeting: ELECTRIFICATION & ECONOMICS – Case studies of applications, cost, and challenges

NYC LL-97 and additional decarbonization objectives have underscored the necessity for electrifying building services. While there is considerable interest in this transition, relatively few projects have been implemented to date. Numerous design concepts and analyses of anticipated carbon and cost savings exist, yet tangible installations remain limited. Several factors contribute to this gap, including insufficient understanding of the actual costs involved.
