Energy Impacts: Post-Pandemic HVAC Adjustment
Energy has taken a backseat to health and safety in the fight to mitigate the spread of Covid19. Our speakers will discuss what can be done to minimize the negative energy impacts associated with these changes.

About The Event
The Covid19 virus has made changes necessary to our building operations. The energy engineering community has been learning about new ventilation rate recommendations, filter upgrades, air cleaners, UV-C fixtures and the like even while we look at less dense space use and reduced occupancies.
While energy has taken a backseat to health and safety in the fight to mitigate the spread of Covid19, we recognize that there are negative energy impacts associated with these changes. Our speakers will help us better understand and project the likely energy impacts based on a macro-data national view, a study conducted for NYSERDA, and on experience in NYC public buildings.
