Topic: High-Temperature Heat Pumps for Steam Generation: Market, Technology, and Application Potentials

Dr. Cordin Arpagaus, Institut für Energiesysteme IES, Switzerland

Dr. Cordin Arpagaus is a process engineer with a doctoral degree from ETH Zurich. Since 2015, he has worked as a Senior Research Engineer at the Institute for Energy Systems (IES) at the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST), focusing on thermal energy systems and energy efficiency in industrial processes, particularly high-temperature heat pumps. He previously held management positions in Swiss companies specializing in laboratory and process technology. Dr. Arpagaus has published over 100 research articles in international journals, including a book on high-temperature heat pumps, held numerous presentations at international conferences, and is active in several professional organizations.
