We are pleased to announce the Gala's Keynote Speaker,  David A. LaCerte, Commissioner of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

David A. LaCerte was confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2025 to serve as a Commissioner of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He brings more than two decades of experience in public service, law, and regulatory policy. Prior to his appointment to FERC, he held senior leadership roles in both state and federal government, including positions at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, and as a Cabinet Secretary for the State of Louisiana. He’s also practiced law in private practice and spent eight years as an infantry squad leader in the U.S. Marines.

At FERC, Commissioner LaCerte focuses on grid reliability, energy affordability, and infrastructure modernization. He supports policies that enable domestic energy development and emerging technologies while upholding the Commission’s independent,…
