Webinar attendees will become familiar with

processes and techniques being researched and

implemented by Facility Managers to mitigate the

effects of Covid-19. Dan Donovan will discuss the

processes and procedures being used and

implemented by the NYC DCAS Asset Management

team post Covid–19, and will report on research and

findings of a new product being tested by DCAS - a

nanotechnology which prohibits water droplets from

penetrating MERV 8 filters, trapping any virus

infiltration into the facility’s air intake in the filter,

protecting the fresh air supply into the building.

Dean Saputa and Don Largent will present

information on ASHRAE’s position regarding fighting

the outbreak as well as some of the equipment and 

procedural strategies that are being used to mitigate

the spread of Covid-19.
