About The Event

A significant gap exists in the market for serving resilient solutions to buildings where Solar+Storage may be insufficient on its own and therefore must be supplemented with dispatchable distributed energy resources (such as fuel cells or clean and highly efficient CHP). Customers with single buildings or building campuses are seeking local generation resiliency solutions that range from about 50 kilowatts to multiple megawatts. Some market actors are already positioning themselves to be first-movers and capitalize on this opportunity, and NYSERDA is exploring the option of underwriting the learning curve associated with forming teams and the initial roll-out of replicable Solar+Storage+CHP configurations.
