New York State and New York City have recently passed energy legislation on meeting certain thresholds of clean power utilization and energy efficiency levels for specific buildings. These mandates will impact existing facilities as energy usage targets will be mandated for specific buildings classes or typologies. The session will provide an overview of the legislative mandates from New York State and City governmental representatives along with insights from a private real estate firm and hospital as to how these organizations plan to meet these mandated new energy requirements.
