We’re thrilled to invite you to join our 1st Chapter webinar in 2022! Speakers from utiliVisor and Sidewalk Labs will introduce IoT technologies and machine learning strategies that optimize building’s performance, save energy expenses and improve tenant comfort. Specifically, Tim Angerame from utiliVisor will share their experience on utilizing submetering data to engage tenants to improve energy efficiency on their end, while Dr. Bin Yan and Alex McCarthy from Sidewalk Labs will present a unique approach to identify future capital improvements for Class B and Class C building Controls.

Dr. Bin Yan Bin Yan is a Data Scientist II for Sidewalk Labs. She found her passion in data analytics and visualization throughout her academic and professional career. Prior to Sidewalk Labs, Bin worked at Harvard Center for Green Buildings and Cities, where she participated in various projects to reduce energy consumption in existing and new buildings. Bin completed her PhD at UPenn and a Master's degree in Information Technology from Harvard. 

Alex McCarthy, PE, CEM, MBA, CPD, LEED AP Alex McCarthy, PE, MBA, CEM, CPD, LEED AP is Associate Director of Building Systems at Sidewalk Labs where he leads the physical integration of the Mesa solution. Mesa is an easy-install energy-efficiency kit for Class B and C commercial buildings that cuts electricity costs, improves tenant comfort, and simplifies building operations. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master’s degree of Business Administration from the Georgetown McDonough School.

Tim Angerame, Chief Operating Officer, joined utiliVisor in 2006, he has been instrumental in the implementation of our energy metering and energy plant services, both in the Northeast and throughout the continental United States. His focus has been in the development of energy projects as well as developing business growth with our partners across the country to impart the utiliVisor business model. To date, he has been intricate in performance monitoring in approximately 750,000 tons of chiller water generation plants and multiple facilities with energy metering services.
